A lawyer to the Lyon Bar since 1983, Serge Deygas is the holder of a postgraduate diploma in private law and a specialised certificate in public law.

In 2012 he gained a qualification in “Inter-company mediation” after undertaking training with the Paris chamber of mediation and arbitration (CMAP), enabling him to operate as an approved mediator for the Centre for mediation and arbitration (CIMA) in Lyon.


Serge DEYGAS was an employee and later partner at the company ADAMAS before pursuing his own activity as a lawyer-publicist at DEYGAS – PERRACHON & Associés SCP.

As a member of the profession’s General Governing Council, he has been chairman of the Public Law Committee and of the Centre for Amicable Justice for the lawyers of the Lyon Bar and in 2020/2021, he was the head of the Lyon Bar.


Serge Deygas has assisted a very large number of public and private organisations in situations involving the application of administrative law or at the intersection between public law and private law.

The cases he has handled as both a consultant and litigator include procedures for the drafting, revision or modification of the largest urban planning scheme in our country. At the same time, Serge Deygas has developed particular skills in managing risks related to public activities, working for example on behalf of local authorities, companies or insurers when serious accidents or events occur, to determine the best strategies and to manage the civil, criminal and administrative consequences.


Serge DEYGAS organizes professional practice seminars in Master 2 "Public business law" at the University of Lyon 3. He also teaches urban planning law at the School of Lawyers of the Rhône-Alpes Region (EDARA).
